Wild Food Year 2022
3 wild food and hedgerow remedies workshops.
SPRING – Saturday 2nd April, 10:30 am to 3:00 pm
Using the best of nature´s offerings for cleansing and refreshing as Spring returns.
SUMMER – Saturday 28th May, 10:30 am to 3:00 pm
Fermenting and smoking food will be the theme for this early summer workshop.
AUTUMN – Saturday 10th September, 10:30 am to 3:00 pm
Using the abundance of woodland fruits and berries, we will delight in preserved treats, alcoholic/non-alcoholic must-haves and a cold and flu remedy to take us into the winter months.
These workshops are designed to be fully experiential. Participants will be invited to take part in the whole cooking process including fire-lighting, collection and preparation of wild foods including game, cooking and serving (or packaging) the completed products together with a discussion surrounding the identification, history and nutritional values of wild food.
