Forest Fridays

Flexible Forest School for pre-school children and their grown-ups

Forest Fridays are our one-off, book-as-you-go Forest School sessions – perfect for families who would like to try Forest School for the first time, can’t commit to a full term, or simply fancy an extra adventure in the woods.

Come along for two hours of child-led woodland play and exploration. Children are free to follow their interests – whether that’s splashing in the stream, climbing and balancing, digging in the mud, creating, building or discovering something entirely of their own.

Parents and carers stay and share the woodland experience with their child.

What should we bring?

Forest School happens in all sorts of weather and getting muddy is very much part of the experience!

Children should come dressed for the weather in clothes that can get wet and muddy. We recommend wellies and waterproofs/puddle suits, even when it hasn’t been raining, as we have a stream running through the woodland.

Adults should also wear suitable outdoor footwear and clothing – you may get muddy too!

Our woodland is at Evegate Business Park, TN25 6SX, near Ashford.
