Welcome to Step-Out, a Community Interest Company and the home of outdoor learning and experiences. Since 2012 Step-Out has been working with children and adults in the outdoors using the natural environment as a tool to inspire people.
Step-Out is now starting a new journey and from September 2022 there will be a Team operating in both East Kent and the West Midlands. The core site for East Kent will remain as our Evegate site in Smeeth and Sarah will be located in and around the Wyre Forest in Worcestershire as well as being involved with a new and exciting Community Project in Ward End, Birmingham alongside Norton Hall Children and Family Centre.
The ethos of positive inclusivity and offering opportunities for all people to access a woodland environment in a safe and inspiring manner remains the same and we’ll continue to strive to offer the very best in woodland learning and the facilitation of therapeutic woodland space.
We will continue to offer OCNWM qualifications and the John Muir Award, so if it’s family time, children’s activities, Forest School Leadership or Bushcraft training, alternative education, corporate activity days, school curriculum programmes or woodland therapy please read on…..
